Quick photo lets you take a photo of a label and create a draft in one click. You can complete the details (name, rating, comments) whenever you want. Ideal during a tasting or at a restaurant.

How does label scanning work?

When adding a tasting, tap "Scan the label". Take a photo of the wine label and the label recognition will automatically fill in the fields (name, producer, vintage, appellation, grape variety, country, color, etc.).

Yes, label recognition analyzes the photo and pre-fills the detected fields. Always check the information before saving, as recognition can sometimes be inaccurate depending on photo quality.

Yes, Trinqo is a progressive web app (PWA). You can install it on your home screen from Safari (iOS) or Chrome (Android) and use it like a real app.

What types of beverages are supported?

You can record wines, champagnes, beers, cocktails, spirits and other beverages. The enriched scan analysis (detailed sheet, sommelier description, taste radar) is limited to wine and champagne: for other beverages, the scan only fills in the fields read on the label, and the no-account trial rejects them. Recording the tasting itself works for all of them. For wines and champagnes, additional fields are available: color (red, white, rose, orange), type (conventional, organic, biodynamic, natural) and sparkling.

How do I edit a tasting?

Open the tasting from your list, then tap "Edit". You can change all fields: name, rating, photo, comments, etc. Changes are saved immediately.

How do I delete a tasting (or several)?

For a single one: open the tasting and tap "Delete". For several: enable multi-selection from the tastings list, check those to delete, then confirm the batch deletion. Note that deletion is irreversible.

How do I rate a wine in half stars?

Tap the left half of a star to give a half star (e.g.: 3.5/5), or the right half for a full star. The minimum rating is 0.5 and the maximum is 5.

What does "Draft" mean?

A draft is an incomplete tasting, created for example via "Quick photo". It contains the photo but not yet the name or rating. An orange "Draft" badge identifies it in your list.

How do I complete a draft?

Open the draft from your tastings list, then tap "Edit". Fill in at least the name and rating so the tasting is no longer considered a draft.

From the "Tastings" page, tap the CSV export button. A file containing all your tastings will be downloaded, with columns: name, type, rating, producer, vintage, country, etc.

How do I enable structured notes?

Go to Settings > Form preferences and choose the "Expert" preset, or manually enable the "Structured tasting notes" toggle. The notes will appear at the bottom of the add form.

When adding a tasting, tap "Scan barcode". Point the camera at the bottle's barcode. If the wine is in our database, the fields will be automatically filled in (name, producer, appellation, country, grape variety, etc.).

If the barcode is not in our database, you can still scan the label with visual recognition or fill in the fields manually. Your information will enrich our database for future users.

Barcode detection works offline, but the database lookup requires an internet connection. Without a connection, the information will be retrieved as soon as you are online.

Do I lose data when switching presets?

No. Hidden fields are not deleted, they are simply hidden. If you scan a label, all detected data is saved even if the corresponding fields are not visible. You can switch presets at any time without losing anything.

How do I add bottles to my cellar?

When creating or editing a tasting, enter a quantity greater than 0, a price and/or a purchase location. Any tasting with at least one bottle in stock automatically appears in your cellar.

From the "My cellar" page, use the + and - buttons next to each wine to adjust the quantity. When the stock drops to 0, the wine disappears from the cellar but remains in your tastings.

Go to "My cellar" from the side menu (desktop) or the navigation bar (mobile). You'll find the total number of bottles, the number of different wines and the estimated value of your cellar.

Is the estimated value of my cellar reliable?

The estimated value is calculated by multiplying the price you entered for each wine by its quantity in stock. It therefore reflects the purchase price you indicated, not the current market value.

Can I make a tasting public via a link?

Yes, open a tasting and enable the "Share link". A unique link is generated that you can copy and send. Anyone with the link can view the tasting, without needing an account.

They can view the tasting without creating an account. If they have a Trinqo account, a button lets them import the entry into their own notebook, keeping a mention of whoever shared it. Tastings you receive this way are grouped in a dedicated segment of My wines.

What is the consecutive days streak?
